The Bottom Line:

Commercial single that did not sell.

Attempt by Warner to force a commercial success in the rock idiom. They hired what must be a musical moron to make the radio edit.

Hiss On The Tape is 15 seconds shorter than the album version. The original ending has been replaced with a fade out and strangely enough the middle eight instrumental section has been shortened to a middle four. Even this did not help...
