The Bottom Line

Well, this is the bottom line.

John's final record finally released.

All tracks written by John Martyn except Can't Turn Back The Years by Phil Collins.

The CD is packed in a normal jewel case. There are no sleevenotes except the following.

On 16 January 2012 a 180 grams vinyl release saw the light on the Music on Vinyl label. This is an official release for which they used the digital master tapes ("© Hole In The Rain Ltd in association with Shamrock Solutions Ltd"). Side B starts with Could've Told You Before I Met You.

Most of this record was recorded in every room of the house on Woolengrange. It was done while everyday life was going on… looking at birds, gizmo barking, peat and logs on the fire, tin cans, tea pots and candles, boiling kettles, simmering recipes, Robbie Burns prose, warm port and herbal aromas all huddled around with Buddah looking on.
