Foundations - Live At The Town And Country Club (VHS)

1 Jan 1988
The Bottom Line:

The album with moving images and three extra tracks.

Recorded live in London at the Town and Country Club, [13 November 1986].

Line-up: Foster Paterson (keyboards, backing vocals on Send Me One Line and Sweet Little Mystery), David 'Taif' Ball (bass), Arran Ahmun (drums), Danny Cummings (percussion), Jeff Castle (keyboards), Colin Tully (saxophone). The line-up is unusually big with two keyboard players and two percussionists.

Solid Air, Dealer and Sweet Little Mystery do not feature on the CD. Voiceprint released the video audio track in 2001 on CD as Live at the Town and Country Club 1986 (Collectors Series Vol 2).

John, after lighting a spliff: 'Don't be standing downwind.' He uses a Gibson Les Paul except for a Fender on Solid Air and Sweet Little Mystery. He is sharply dressed and wears his hair in a tail, possibly inspired by the much larger tail of David Ball.
