Short but superb performance on occasion of Lifetime Achievement Award. Recorded at The Brewery, London.

John was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards 2008 on Monday 4 February. Long time friend Phil Collins was honoured to present the award. Highlights of the awards show were broadcast on Radio 2 on Wednesday 6 February from 7pm in an extended edition of The Mike Harding Show.

John performed Over The Hill and May You Never with special guest John Paul Jones from Led Zeppelin playing mandolin. Alan Thomson, Spencer Cozens, Arran Ahmun and Martin Winning accompanied John who was in excellent form and recovering well from his recent illness. John received a standing ovation from the invited audience.
