On the 10th of September 2011 many musicians got together in Bill Carrolls bar in Thomastown, Kilkenny to commemorate John's birthday. It turned out to be quite a memorable weekend. Fans were moved to be able to hear John's original band playing again. The next year a more ambitious effort was made to establish a tradition but unfortunately this did not succeed.

Original cover material for the Heaven And Earth album that was not used. This was designed by Michael Page but eventually alternative artwork by Reginald Hastings was chosen.

One more time at the Brewery..
Poster for one of the later shows at the Brewery, Kendal.
"The concert was truly moving and emotional. The Brewery is a small intimate venue which was packed. JM did all the usual classics and you just felt like it was a privilege to be there."

Poster for a charity gig for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. John had to skip this show because of a missed plane, but gave a concert one day later. There is some footage on YouTube of the occasion.

This poster announcing a Galway concert at The Warwick was found in a local salvage yard by Joe O'Donovan. It measures about 90 x 70 centimeters. John was said to perform "with his new 3 piece band".
